Easy homemade fluffy strawberry cake recipe
This is a recipe for a homemade strawberry cake. Besides being easy, it is fluffy and delicious. Learn how to prepare it here.
Ingredients
Sponge cake
- 125 ml yoghurt
- 225 g sugar
- 180 g self-rising flour
- 115 ml oil
- 3 egg
- 10 ml vanilla essence
- 15 g baking soda
Filling and decoration
- 500 g strawberry jam
- 100 ml heavy cream
- 2 strawberry

Directions
Place three eggs, vanilla, yoghurt, and sugar in a large bowl. Beat well until well blended.

Add the flour and baking powder. Mix well to combine.

Line a 20 cm diameter baking tin with baking paper. Then fill the baking tin with the cream. Preheat the oven to 180 Cº or 355 Fº and bake for about 40 minutes with heat up and down.

Once cool, divide the sponge cake into two equal parts.

Place a little jam on the presentation plate and place the first disc of sponge cake on top. Don't forget to heat the jam so that it is very liquid and then soak the sponge cake well with this jam

Cover with an even layer of jam and then place the other disc of sponge cake on top.

Cover both the surface and the sides with jam. Set aside in the fridge or refrigerator.
