Delicious roast chicken thighs
Guaranteed the best roasted chicken thighs, which I used to bake on Sundays for lunch.
Ingredients
- 4 cloves garlic
- olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground paprika
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- rosemary

Rinse the chicken thighs, pat dry and rub with olive oil. Press the garlic cloves into the meat.
Salt and pepper the meat with ground paprika and turmeric. I always recommend using freshly ground spices, as their aroma and flavour is much stronger and more intense.
Transfer the chicken thighs to a baking dish and sprinkle with rosemary.
Place the roasting tin in an oven preheated to 220°C and bake the thighs for about an hour and a half. Turn the thighs occasionally and baste with water as needed.
During baking, a great juices will form in the roasting pan, which I recommend pouring over the finished chicken thighs before serving. This will tenderize the meat even more and give it a wonderful flavor.
