Delicious recipe of stuffed tartlets for christmas
The Christmas period is approaching little by little, so why not sweeten our lives with the typical sweets for this happiest time of the year.
Ingredients
For the tartlets:
- 1 package puff pastry
- 1 beaten egg
For the pastry cream:
- 500 ml of milk
- 4 Egg yolks
- 100 g sugar
- 50 g maize starch
- 1 cdta vanilla
For decoration:
- kiwi
- Burs

Directions
First preheat the oven to 180ºC. While you wait, you can stretch the puff pastry with a rolling pin.
Use a round cutter to cut circles in the puff pastry and place them in the holes of a tartlet pan.
Paint the tartlets with the beaten egg - with this trick you will get a golden tone of the tartlets.
Let them bake for about 15 minutes until done. Then, take them out of the oven and let them cool.
While they are cooling, prepare the custard, so heat the milk in a saucepan.
Beat the egg yolks with the sugar in a bowl until you obtain a whitish mixture. Then add the cornstarch with the vanilla and continue beating until well incorporated.
Pour the hot milk over the yolk mixture, a little at a time, whisking constantly to prevent the yolks from cooking.
Return everything to the saucepan and cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring continuously until it thickens.
Once the cream has cooled, fill the tartlets with it and decorate them with the fruits.
