Delicious Fresh Fig Tart Dessert
An easy recipe for this delightful pastry, with fresh figs and frangipane cream!
Ingredients

- 8 tablespoons butter
- 1 Cup confectionery sugar
- 1 egg
- 1⁄4 spoon salt
- 11⁄4 Cup self-rising flour
Filling
- 8 tablespoon butter
- 1 Cup sugar
- 1 Cup almond flour
- 2 egg
- 1⁄4 spoon salt
- 20 figs
- almond flakes

Directions
To make the tart, combine the butter, sugar, and salt into a smooth cream. Then add an egg, and after combined add sifted flour. Wrap in plastic and let sit in refrigerator for two hours.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. After chilling, roll out on a flour-dusted counter. Gently move into your tart pan. Remove excess dough, then poke holes into the pan with a fork. Put parchment paper in, and weigh down with dried beans. Bake for 15 minutes. Let cool.

To make the frangipane, mix butter, sugar, and salt together. Then add eggs and almond flour. Mix well. Mash 5 figs, and add to the cream.

Cut the remaining figs into halves. Spread the frangipane over the cooled tart, and arrange figs on top. Bake for another 50 minutes. Let cool, decorate with almond flakes and enjoy!
