The chicken drumsticks are crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside, simply irresistible. With the spices I use in my recipe, the chicken always has an aromatic, strong yet not too strong flavor.

Directions
To replicate the chicken drumstick recipe preheat the oven to 200 degrees. In my experience, this is the ideal temperature to get the chicken crispy on the outside and still juicy on the inside.
While the oven is preheating, rub the chicken drumsticks with olive oil. This ensures that the spices adhere better to the meat and at the same time it stays juicier.
Mix the salt, bell pepper, paprika and garlic powder in a small bowl and rub the mixture evenly into the chicken drumsticks.
Place the chicken drumsticks on a baking tray lined with baking paper and add the rosemary sprig. The rosemary releases its aroma to the chicken drumsticks during roasting and gives them an extra flavor note.
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast the chicken drumsticks for about 45-50 minutes. Turn the drumsticks occasionally so they brown evenly. The exact roasting time may vary depending on the oven, so I recommend checking the meat towards the end of the cooking time to make sure it is not dry.
After the baking time, let the chicken legs rest for a while before serving. This way the juices stay in the meat and it stays juicy.
