Bundled meat
I really like this recipe because it's simple, quick to make, and even simple ingredients can be delicious with the right preparation. The different meats and flavouring options offer endless variation.
Ingredients
- 4 pc A slice of meat (can be pork, veal or chicken)
- 4 pc egg
- 8 slice bread
- 150 g flour
- salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying

First, the meat is selected and marinated with salt and pepper. I personally use pork for this recipe. It's important that the meat is a nice cut and not too thick, because then it will be harder to cook.
Fry the meat in oil. Try to distribute the oil so that it doesn't burn the meat, but there is enough to fry it completely. Fry both sides of the meat until golden brown.
In a bread bowl, beat the egg and dip the bread slices in it. Then roll them in the flour. I find it works well to flavour the egg with a few drops of lemon juice or garlic, which makes the result more exciting.
In a separate pan over high heat, fry the bread slices on both sides. Be careful not to burn them, the eggs brown quickly!
Finally, serve with the roast meat and the bread. The bread is placed on top of or next to the meat.
