Best Basic Eggless Vegan Cake Ever

Ingredients
For cake:
- 21⁄2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 11⁄2 cups almond milk (or other non-dairy milk)
- 1⁄2 Cup vegetable oil
- 2 tbls apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
For frosting:
- 11⁄2 cups powdered sugar
- 1⁄4 Cup vegan butter, softened
- 0.6 tbls almond milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions
Preheat the oven to350°F and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, combine the almond milk, vegetable oil, apple cider vinegar, and vanilla extract.
Pour the liquid mixture into the dry ingredients and mix till well combined.
Transfer to the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in pan for 10 minutes.
For the frosting, beat the butter till creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue to beat until well incorporated.
Add almond milk and stir in the vanilla extract.
Once the cake has cooled spread the frosting onto the top and sides of the cake using a spatula or a butter knife.
