Authentic Thai Pad See Ew Stir-Fry Noodles Recipe
Pad See Ew is a popular Thai stir-fried noodle dish with a unique combination of flavors and textures. It's deliciously savory but not overly spicy, which makes it well loved by all taste buds. Ingredients
- 200 g of chicken breast or tofu, sliced
- 200 g of wide rice noodles
- 2 tbls of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1⁄2 Cup of thinly sliced Chinese broccoli or regular broccoli
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tbls of vegetable oil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon of ground white pepper

Directions
Cook the rice noodles according to the package instructions. Rinse them under cool water.
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat in a large pan or wok. Add the chicken or tofu, stirring frequently until cooked through. Remove it from the pan and set it aside.
In the same pan, add another tablespoon of oil and the minced garlic. Cook for about a minute until the garlic is fragrant.
Push the garlic to one side of the pan and crack the egg into the other. Scramble it briefly until it just begins to set.
Add the cooked noodles, chicken or tofu, broccoli, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and white pepper. Stir fry everything together for about 2-3 minutes until all the ingredients are well combined and heated through. Make sure the sauces evenly coat the noodles.
Transfer the Pad See Ew to plates and serve immediately. Enjoy this savory noodle dish!
