Apple Sandwich
Recipe for baked apple sandwich, which is suitable for breakfast.
Ingredients
- 1 kg apples
- 500 g Smooth flour
- 200 g sugar
- 1 bal baking powder
- 200 ml milk
- 4 a piece egg
- 2 spoons Vanilla extract
- pinch of salt

Directions
Start by preheating the oven to 180°C. Peel the apples, cut out the cores and cut into thin slices.
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Then add the milk, egg and vanilla extract to the mixture and mix until a smooth dough forms.
The batter should be thick enough to hold the apples, so add a little flour if necessary. Gently stir the apples into the batter to avoid cracking them.
Pour the batter into a baking dish and place in a preheated oven. Bake for about 45-50 minutes until it gets a nice golden colour.
Let the sandwich cool completely before slicing, so the flavours will combine and hold their shape better.
