Directions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar. Mix well.
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the olive oil and lukewarm water. Mix with a spoon until dough starts to come together.
Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. Add more flour if the dough feels too sticky.
Shape the dough into a ball and place it in a clean bowl lightly greased with olive oil. Cover it and move to a warm place for about 1-5 hours or until it doubles in size.
Once the dough has risen, gently punch it down. Transfer it back to the floured surface and divide it into 4 equal portions.
Take one portion of the dough and shape it into a round pizza base, gently stretching it. Use a pin if needed.
Place the shaped pizza base onto a baking tray lined with paper. Repeat the process with remaining dough portions.
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and let the pizza bases rest for another 20 minutes before adding your toppings.
After the resting time, you now add your desired toppings to the pizzas. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the crust turns golden brown.
Once the pizzas are ready, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
