Old-Fashioned Slow Cooked Curried Sausages

Ingredients
- 8 beef sausages
- 1 large onion
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbls curry powder
- 2 tbls tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 Cup frozen peas
- salt and pepper to taste
- Rice or mashed potatoes for serving

Cut the sausages into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
Heat a large pan over medium-high heat and add a small amount of oil.
Add the chopped onions and garlic and sauté until soft and translucent.
Add the curry powder, tomato paste, brown sugar, mustard powder, ginger powder, and cumin powder. Mix well until fragrant.
Add the sausages and stir until evenly coated with the curry mixture.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
