Kinder slice
Kinder schnitzel is one of my favourites, and I often make it for the family during the holidays and on weekdays. The recipe has proven to be really easy to make and no complicated or expensive ingredients are needed. Getting the proportions right and following them exactly is important, but I always add a little extra breakfast to add a little extra love!
Ingredients
- 2 package McVities biscuits
- 1 board dark chocolate
- 1 dl heavy cream
- 3 pc egg
- 3 package vanilla sugar
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 25 dkg margarine
- 20 dkg confectionery sugar

Directions
Break the biscuit into smaller pieces (this is quite large, as it gives the finished bar a chocolatey biscuit texture. Take a large serving bowl and pour the eggs into it. Add the sugar and vanilla sugar and mix well. Make sure that the sugars are completely dissolved in the eggs, as this will help to make the final result more delicious.
Then melt the margarine - you can even do this in the microwave - and add it to the egg mixture. Mix it all together again, then add the biscuits. Now comes the real art: mixing the biscuit mixture well so that every single piece can be incorporated into the delicious sweetness.
When you are ready, pour the mixture into a pre-greased baking pan or a tin lined with baking paper. Tip: don't be afraid to press the mixture into the pan. This will help to ensure that the end result is not crumbly.
Melt the chocolate with the cream - either in the microwave or over steam. Then pour the chocolate over the biscuit mixture and spread it out evenly.
Then all that's left to do is chill: leave the slices in the fridge for at least 2-3 hours, or even overnight. The next day, just dice and serve.
