Enhancing jarred red cabbage

- 1 Glass red cabbage
- 1 small onion
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 100 ml red wine
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 Pinch salt
- 1 Pinch pepper
- 1 TL butter

1. Step
Finely chop the onion and sauté it until it's translucent in a pan with the butter.
2. Step
Add the sugar and let it caramelize.
3. Step
Add the red cabbage from the jar and deglaze with the red wine and balsamic vinegar.

Let it simmer for about 5 minutes over medium heat.

Season with salt and pepper and serve.
