Christmas Meringues
These Christmas meringues are ideal for any festive table decoration. Besides the meringue, we can taste a subtle cinnamon and clove flavor, which perfectly fits the Christmas atmosphere.

- 200 g confectionery sugar
- 1 pinch salt
Seasoning
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground cloves

Whisk the egg whites into stiff peaks with a pinch of salt.
Gradually add the powdered sugar to the egg whites, while constantly beating.
Add the ground cinnamon and cloves to the mixture, then gently stir them together.
Shape small meringues from the mixture onto a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Bake the meringue in a preheated oven at a low temperature (100°C) for approximately 45-60 minutes, or until the meringues have dried out and can be easily lifted off the baking paper.
