How to make Healthy Sauteed Green Beans
These beans are a simple and healthy side dish that can be enjoyed with any meal. They are lightly seasoned and cooked to perfection, retaining their green color and crisp texture.

- 1 Cup green beans, trimmed
- 2 tbls olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1⁄4 Cup sliced almonds

Directions
Fill a large pot with water and put the green beans in to soak until they are bright green and tender. Drain beans immediately, then move to a bowl filled with ice water. Set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Add green beans to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper. Stir well to coat the beans with the garlic and seasoning.
Cook the green beans over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes stirring occasionally, until they are cooked through but still crisp. Adjust the heat as needed.
Drizzle the lemon juice over the green beans and toss them gently to evenly distribute the flavors.
If desired, sprinkle sliced almonds over the green beans for added crunch. Stir gently to combine.
Transfer the green beans to a serving dish and serve hot.
