- 2 pcs onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 ts sweet paprika
- 1 pcs bay leaf

1. Step
First rinse the sauerkraut under running water and chop it into smaller pieces.
2. Step
Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Heat oil in a pan and fry the onion until it is golden.

Add garlic and sauté for a while. Then add the pepper, bay leaf and allspice. Sauté for a while to blend the flavors.

Then add the chopped cabbage, stir it, and stew it under the lid until the cabbage is soft. During simmering, add salt to taste.

The stewed sour cabbage is ready. Taste and add more salt if needed. Serve with roasted meat and side dish of your choice. Enjoy your meal!
