Baked pike in Butter
This recipe for roasted pike in butter is one of my favorites. We've had this dish at many family gatherings and each time it's been a real hit. I believe your family and friends will appreciate it too.
Ingredients
- 1 a piece pike
- 150 g butter
- 2 a piece lemons
- 1 a piece Large celery
- 4 Cloves garlic
- salt
- Ground pepper

Start by preheating the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. And then we'll prepare our pike.
Arrange the pike in a deeper baking dish and brush it with the lemon juice from one lemon. This will remove any possible fishy smell. Melt a piece of butter and mix it with the finely chopped garlic. Brush this butter on the pike inside and out.
Peel the celery and cut into thin slices. Its taste perfectly complements the taste of pike. Arrange the celery slices in the bottom of the baking dish around the pike.
Season the pork with pepper and salt and place in the preheated oven. Bake for about 45 minutes. Brush the pike with the remaining butter several times during baking.
Serve the pike warm, garnished with lemon slices from the second lemon.
